Pre-Calculus 40S Hi Everyone:
-Today is Wednesday, April 4, 2018. We've just had our Spring Break and have completed one class (two days ago). I reverted from my original plan for the night somewhat, so here comes the scoop!
-We did a quick touch on Inverses and an even quicker touch on Composition of Functions. There is a handout for both those topics. However, I really wanted to get into the Unit Circle, Radians and Degrees material that I changed up the plan in the last hour.
-If you missed Monday's class, try your best to watch the videos by profrobbob, Standard Position Angle Parts 1 and 2. It shows how 180 degrees = 𝝿 radians.

-I will tie up the Compositions of Function topic in the first hour tonight.
-Don't forget we have a test next week Wednesday, which marks the half way point of our course.

Pre-Calculus First night with Joe
Hi Everyone:
Well, it's great to have met you and I'm looking forward to a fun and productive semester here at AEC. This first post is to show you that I'm not the only person who is able to teach you your math. There are plenty of others - 'youtubers', with fabulous skills. Tonight, I want to introduce you to my personal favourite - PROFROBBOB. The lesson we did in class is a direct take-off from his lesson that can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFZOnAcuVLM.
So, now that you've taken the notes on parabolas and things about them, sit back and enjoy.
Stay in touch with me via email, phone, or this blog. Ask lots of questions. Attend as regularly as possible. In the meantime take care. Talk to you soon.
